Although the “Blue Lagoon” is the most famous hot spring in Iceland, the reality is that there are countless other hot springs around the country that are worth visiting and cost much less than the Blue Lagoon (the price per person is at least 35 euros). Located in the north, the village of Myvatn hot springs are much less popular – and cheaper – than Blue Lagoon. An ideal place to go if you are traveling off the beaten track in search of authenticity.
